For which skin types are the products suitable?
The products are suitable for all skin types and skin conditions. The application can be adjusted according to skin type. We particularly recommend the products for dry, sensitive and mature skin.
I have very sensitive skin. Can I still use the products?
The SHEA YEAH products are suitable for sensitive skin. But there are always exceptions. Therefore it is important to do a compatibility test on the forearm before using the products for sensitive skin types and people with allergies. If you do not tolerate a product, make sure that you refrain from further use.
Are the products suitable during pregnancy and for children?
The products are very well compatible and therefore also suitable for pregnant women and children. Even highly recommended. We recommend the products without essential oil with the exception of essential lavender oil (in the product Beauty Balm FAITH).
What is the shelf life of the products?
The products have a shelf life of up to 3 years when closed. Once opened, they should be consumed within 6 months.
Are the products vegan and gluten-free?
All products of SHEA YEAH are purely vegetable (vegan) and gluten-free.
Do the products contain preservatives, emulsifiers or mineral oil?
As the products do not contain water, there are no preservatives and emulsifiers. To extend the shelf life of the oils and butter, natural vitamin E is used as an antioxidant. We do not use cheap mineral oils as fillers. All oils are cold-pressed and if possible natural and organic.
Where are the products manufactured?
The products are manufactured in Switzerland in the laboratory of the Bellevue Pharmacy in Zurich. The shea butter is made entirely in Ghana.
Is the shea butter certified?
SHEA YEAH shea butter is certified organic by Ecocert. It is unrefined and handmade. Through close cooperation with our local partner and regular visits, we ensure ethical working conditions.
Do you take back empty jars?
Unfortunately, for hygienic reasons, we can only use the jars once. Unfortunately, we are not able to refill already used jars at the moment. You can easily reuse them for your own DIY projects. However, if you do not find a second use for your jars, dispose of them separately from the lid in the aluminium and plastic collection. Here you can read (german only) why we have chosen PET as packaging.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
When will my order be shipped?
We pack and ship from Monday to Friday – with the exception of public holidays. Usually, your order will be handed over to the post office within 2 working days. Please make sure that your address details are complete and correct so that we can prepare your package for shipping more quickly.
How long does it take until my order arrives?
We ship by A-Post with the Swiss Post. The total delivery time is 3 – 4 working days after placing your order. No mail is delivered on Sundays and public holidays. If you have a login at the Swiss Post, you will receive a tracking link by mail. Via this you can check the progress of your shipment.
I have not yet received my order after 3-4 working days. What do I do now?
Please be patient for a few more days. However, please contact us after 8-10 working days at the latest so that we can initiate a tracking of the package.
What countries do you ship to?
We currently only ship within Switzerland.
Which packaging material do you use?
We use shredded newspapers as filler material for our packages, which would otherwise end up in the waste paper. Plastic chips never come in our parcels. Our shipping boxes, with the exception of the bubble envelopes, are recyclable. We are constantly working on improvements regarding the sustainability of our packaging.
What payment methods do you offer?
Your credit card details are treated with the highest confidentiality and security. Your data will not be stored by us. We transmit them encrypted to our payment service provider “stripe”, which is certified according to the PCI-DSS standard in the highest level (Level 1). PCI-DSS is the abbreviation for “Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard” and is based on the security programs Visa AIS (Account Information Security) and MasterCard SDP (Site Data Protection). These are in part extremely complex and cost-intensive security measures that are prescribed by the credit card companies to protect data security and must be checked at regular intervals.
We send orders with an invoice. Although this method of payment is very complicated for us, we want to offer you this possibility, because this method of payment is still very popular in Switzerland 🙂 However, we also depend on you to make sure that you pay within 10 days. As a small company, punctual payments are very essential for us. Thank you for your help.
Why are sometimes not all products available?
SHEA YEAH is freshly prepared in fixed production slots in the laboratory of the Bellevue Pharmacy. Although we make the planning as precise as possible, it can happen that the demand is higher than our stock and certain products are out of stock.
Can you notify me when a product is available again?
As much as we would like to, for operational reasons it is currently not possible to send notifications by email. We recommend checking our social media channels or online shop regularly.
What are the conditions for vouchers?
The voucher amount will be deducted from the total amount of the shopping cart. If not the whole amount is used up, it can be redeemed with another purchase until the total amount is used up. If the amount of the shopping cart is higher than the amount of the voucher, the difference has to be paid at checkout.
Total shopping cart 40 CHF – minus voucher 30 CHF = 10 CHF payable amount
How can I redeem my voucher?
On the voucher you will find an 8-digit number (e.g. F53A-1A84). If you are in the shopping cart, you can enter the 8-digit code in the field above the product at «gift card» and click on «apply gift card». On the right side under «shopping cart total» you can now see the amount deducted. If you have any problems redeeming your gift card, please feel free to contact us.
Can I redeem several vouchers at once?
This is not possible. A maximum of 1 voucher can be redeemed per purchase.
Can I print out the voucher at home?
At the moment the option «Print at Home» as PDF is not yet available.
RETURN & EXCHANGE
Can I return products to you that I no longer want?
Ordered products cannot be returned or exchanged for hygienic reasons. If you are not satisfied with one of our products, please contact us.
