Fruit seed oils from upcycling - the perfect addition to shea butter

Hauttypen? Eine Erfindung des Marketings? Reading Fruit seed oils from upcycling - the perfect addition to shea butter 2 minutes

As a young Swiss beauty brand, we have dedicated ourselves to high-quality organic shea butter from ethical production. But we go one step further: by upcycling raw materials that are waste in the food industry, we transform them into high-quality care products. This combination epitomises our philosophy of resource-conserving and waterless natural cosmetics.

Peel, seeds and pulp are currently often a waste product in Europe, for example in the juice industry. These mostly unutilised resources are of great value due to their valuable ingredients. They contain effective active substances such as antioxidants and vitamins.

In our range, especially in our new Face Balm, we utilise the full potential of valuable by-products from grapes, apricots and sea buckthorn. This innovative upcycling process not only conserves resources, but also reduces waste and environmental pollution. The use of these natural by-products also significantly reduces water consumption. This means that not only the skin but also the planet benefits from these environmentally friendly and highly effective products.

«For several years I searched for light, upcycled oils to round off the shea butter. Tricky, but I found it!»

Around 40 to 50 kilograms of grape seeds are needed to press one litre of grape seed oil. As the seeds have a very low oil content (around 10 to 15 per cent), the yield is relatively low compared to other oilseeds.

But it can't be just any upcycling oil. To round off the feel of blends with the nourishing shea butter, I have been looking for light oils with a suitable fat spectrum in recent years. With the aim of creating a harmonious interplay. One that is nourishing, nurturing and regenerating for the skin and has no additional impact on the environment. Neither with water consumption nor with additional waste. And yes, it's done!

Enjoy!
